Before you begin, make sure you have completed pre-installation tasks listed in Table After the products are installed, you can run the Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard to configure the product s of your choice. Depending on your specific needs, there are multiple places where you can obtain Oracle Fusion Middleware software. Select one of the download locations and download "SOA Suite. After you download the archive file, unpack the archive file into a directory of your choice on the machine where you will be performing the installation.

To start the installer, go to the directory where you unpacked the archive file and switch to the Disk1 directory. This guide is classified into two parts and depending on whether you are installing OracleAS Portal for the first time, or, are upgrading from an earlier release of OracleAS Portal, refer to the relevant part in the guide as follows:.
