Mobsync exe in vista

What i want to know is why in the world Vegas would need Microsoft SQL Server for anyways, that's what it's trying to sync with. When i remove that, i get an error starting up Vegas. No matter what i do here, i'm going to have something annoying me. Probably seems like i'm taking this overboard, but now that i'm set on getting rid of it, i really want to figure this out.
